Happy Friday beauties! It’s that time of year again where Summer is creeping up on us and everyone is busy planning trips, attending weddings and filling all of their time off with activities. I don’t know about you but my husband and I are in that season of life where we attend so many weddings every Summer to Fall. This particular year we are in 4 weddings between the two of us and nearly every weekend for the next three months is booked. Even though this Summer is going to be so busy we couldn’t be happier for all our dear friends and watching them tie the knot!
So all this being said I thought that today’s post could be for all you current brides-to-be out there! I remember feeling overwhelmed when I got married at the thought of having to have a different white dress or look for each festivity the wedding process calls for and not knowing what to wear to each. After all you want to look spectacular at each event and switch it up so it doesn’t look like you wore the same thing to everything. Well I want to inspire you to get creative with your white outfits for engagement parties, showers, bachelorette parties, rehearsal dinners, etc!
Do not fear, your two piece is here! There are so many beautiful white dresses out there but one thing I love about two piece sets is they are a bit different and trendier than just a normal dress. I love the crop top look with a skirt. You can get a crop top like the one I’m wearing that shows very little belly if you are a bit more reserved or there are sets that have a shorter crop top and a higher waisted skirt that shows a bit more skin. Whatever your style is, try out some two piece sets and see what you think! This particular set is from good ol’ Nordstrom.
Try switching up your white dresses for each event with different fabrics, beading, sequins, and lace as well as different silhouettes such as two piece sets, maxis, cocktail dresses, fit and flare, bohemian, and the list goes on!
Add a pretty flower crown to any look to give it a bohemian or fresh garden party vibe. Or you could wear a crown made out of just green foliage if you want a more simple and understated look. Try it out for yourself!
Hope this gives you some new ideas for what to wear on the road to “I do” you beautiful brides!
